Hi everyone!
Today we come to you with the battle theme for Alchemic Beasts! With this song, I wanted a frantic sound, but also something very whimsical.
I wanted to capture the feeling of a dangerous battle, but nothing too dangerous because it’s just a basic battle against some beasts that live in the area near Mizu, the starting location. I really looked to F-Zero for the inspiration of the sound, though I think the kick may be a little too strong. As someone who really likes bass and boom, I dig it, but others may not and I might change it to have less power on it.
What do you think of this battle theme? Does it fit the vibe that I had in my brain? Does it fit the vibe of the game? I’m still learning how to make music and making music for Alchemic Beasts is a totally different… beast from making music for Equan, though both equally fun, both equally hard.
No actually I think making music for Alchemic Beasts is harder and I’ve only brushed the edge of it.
