The kelts early years on Hasphal’s were marked by dark times. The planet was harsh and unforgiving to the settlers from the stars. Stranded on this seemingly desolate world, they dragged themselves through the mud, struggling for survival. Many perished due to the planet’s hostile atmosphere, and those who remained battled through exhaustion and paranoia, weighed down by the mental toll of simply staying alive. Lawlessness spread through the settlements as resources dwindled, and desperate individuals formed gangs to take what they needed from the weak and unprepared.

For thirty years, the planet’s environment just was too brutal for reproduction, and no children were born. Eventually, some scientists developed a self-directed evolution catalyst to help the kelts adapt to their personal purgatory. This would allow them to eventually have children by adapting their bodies to this new planet. However, not everyone had access to this relief. Only the privileged few were able to bear children, and these children became precious commodities, fiercely guarded by those with wealth and power. But this protection proved futile, as kidnappings became rampant, with children being sold like rare treasures.

One story that spread across the land told of a child found in the wilderness near Mastet by an infamous gang. The tale ended in a massacre, with one gang member killing every one of his comrades to protect the child. Rumors began circulating about an older man named Chuck and a young girl who wandered the land, their sightings becoming the stuff of ghost stories and urban legends.

As the divide between the rich and the poor widened, the kidnappings grew more violent. Then, out of the wilderness, she appeared. Her name was Miranda, whispered throughout the land as a savior. She hunted down any gang that dared to kidnap children or pillage villages. A mysterious figure, deadly accurate with throwing knives and a sharpshooter of unmatched skill. Just as quietly as she arrived, Miranda vanished into the sands without a trace, leaving only her legend behind.
Miranda possesses exceptional physical abilities, including eyesight as sharp as an eagle’s, allowing her to see vast distances up to 2 miles away. This remarkable vision makes her a highly skilled sharpshooter, particularly proficient with a rifle, which she uses to hunt game for survival in the wilderness. Her finely tuned senses make her an expert tracker and hunter; she can pick up the scent of targets that left an area up to a week ago and hear sounds from as far as 80 feet away.

In close combat, her mastery of knives and throwing daggers are equally lethal. Miranda can strike vital organs with deadly accuracy at lightning speed and is capable of throwing up to ten daggers at once, hitting multiple targets with precision in a single throw.

Originally created for a friendly competition between Yin & Rell to see who can get a game done faster (spoiler alert: none of the games were finished, though it’s looking like I’m finally about to win lol). We gave ourselves 3 months. Yin was making a western fantasy RPG and Rell was making a full fledged fighting game. Miranda was one of the 3 main characters of Lunaris and it was going to be a majorly adult game. We’ve adjusted it now to be at least rated for a mid-teenager. Mostly because of blood and common adult themes typical of common western movies and media.
