Deep within Origin Forest appears in a state of constant decay as the leaves of the tree wilt in discoloration. What was once a sprawling and beautiful forest has now become the permanent death bed for the kelt and jehts that fought for control of Hasphal. The leader of the kelt, Hydorn, led a desperate attack on the jehts’ most powerful stronghold. With them nearly defeated, Hydorn launched a weapon that would ensure the decimation of the jehts’ forces and destroy their defenses.

This event would come to be known as the Great Cataclysm and it inflicted the forest with a deadly disease that would start to corrupt all organic material that it would touch. This disease branched out for hours destroying the beautiful and lush forests and contaminating the land for generations. The jehts that survived retreated to the north while the kelt retreated south both were reluctant to ever enter this dead land ever again.
